Micropropagation enables the rapid and uniform production of high-quality plants. However, tissue cultures may suffer from medium browning, physiological stress and inconsistent development-reducing multiplication efficiency and increasing plantlet losses.
PhytoRNA is developing a precision biological approach designed to improve culture health throughout the propagation process. By reducing browning-associated stress and supporting more consistent plant development, the technology aims to increase propagation efficiency, improve plantlet quality and reduce mortality during culture and acclimatization.
The goal is a more reliable and scalable micropropagation process: to produce more viable plantlets per cycle while reducing waste, production time and cost.
